Our process

How LG dryer repair works

We built our process around one idea: no surprises. You know the price before we start, you approve every step, and you pay only after your dryer is running again.

01
Step 01

Book a visit

Booking takes less than 2 minutes. You have three ways to reach us:

  • Call us at (323) 990-7550 — a real person picks up, not a voicemail.
  • Online booking form — fill in your address, LG dryer model if you know it, and a brief description of the problem.
  • Call Me Back — hit the button on our site and we'll call you within minutes.

We take bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once booked, we'll confirm a 2-hour arrival window that works for your schedule.

Landlords: if you won't be on-site during the visit, let us know at booking. We'll take your payment details upfront and coordinate directly with your tenant — you won't need to be there.

02
Step 02

Technician arrives

Thirty minutes before our technician leaves for your address, you'll receive an automatic text message with his name and estimated arrival time. No more sitting by the window for two hours.

Our technicians typically arrive in the first 30 minutes of your 2-hour window. He'll pull up in a marked white Ford Transit van, introduce himself, put on shoe covers, and ask you to show him the dryer before starting any work.

Every technician on our team is background-checked, licensed under Bureau of Household Goods and Services #49573, and carries OEM parts for the most common LG dryer failures on every truck.

03
Step 03

Diagnosis — $65

The $65 diagnostic fee covers a full inspection of your LG dryer — electrical system, heating circuit, drum mechanics, venting, error codes, and sensors. We don't guess. By the end of the diagnosis our technician will tell you exactly what is wrong and give you a complete written estimate covering parts and labor.

The $65 is waived entirely if you approve the repair and we proceed. If the diagnosis turns out to be incorrect for any reason, the fee is refunded in full — no questions asked.

04
Step 04

You approve the quote

Nothing happens until you say yes. Once you approve the estimate, one of two things happens depending on whether the required part is already on the truck:

85% of visits
Part is on the truck
Repair begins immediately. Most LG dryer repairs are completed within the same visit as the diagnosis — often within 1–2 hours of arrival.
Part to order
Part needs to be ordered
We collect a prepayment equal to the cost of the part, order it immediately through our suppliers, and schedule a return visit — usually the next morning. You'll receive a booking confirmation by text.
05
Step 05

Repair completed

We stock the most common LG dryer parts on every truck. Our supplier relationships mean we source genuine OEM LG parts at prices that are often lower than retail — and we pass those savings on to you.

Common repairs we complete on the spot:

If a part needs to be ordered, we collect prepayment for the part cost only. Labor is billed at the second visit after the repair is completed.

06
Step 06

Payment — after demonstration

Before we ask for a single dollar, the technician will run your LG dryer through a full cycle and demonstrate that the problem you reported is fully resolved. Only once you confirm that everything is working as expected do we process payment.

We accept all major payment methods:

Credit card Debit card Cash Check Zelle Venmo PayPal

Landlords: if you arranged remote payment at booking, we charge your payment method on file and email you a full service report.

What we stand behind

Every visit. Every repair. No exceptions.

Diagnostic guarantee

If our diagnosis turns out to be incorrect, we refund the $65 diagnostic fee in full. We stand behind our assessment.

3-month warranty — standard

All repairs come with a 3-month warranty covering both parts and labor. If the same issue returns within 3 months, we come back and fix it at no charge — parts and labor included.

Honest "don't repair" advice

If repair is not in your best interest, we'll tell you straight. This happens when parts are unavailable, when multiple components are heavily worn at once, or when repair cost exceeds 50% of a new unit's price. We will never recommend a repair that doesn't make financial sense for you.

Older LG dryers are worth repairing

LG dryers manufactured 8–10 years ago are significantly more reliable than current models. If your older unit needs several parts replaced, a full renovation often makes far more sense than buying new. A properly refurbished older LG dryer can give you another 8–10 years of reliable service — while a brand-new unit may start showing problems within 2–3 years. We'll give you an honest assessment and let you decide.

Common questions

What if I decline the repair after diagnosis?
You pay the $65 diagnostic fee and nothing else. No obligation, no pressure. We'll provide you with a written summary of the diagnosis so you have it on file if you decide to proceed later.
Do you charge extra if a part needs to be ordered?
No extra fees for ordering. You prepay the cost of the part — often lower than retail through our supplier network — and we schedule a return visit as soon as it arrives, usually the next morning. Labor is billed at the second visit after the repair is complete.
What does the 2-hour arrival window mean?
When you book, we assign a 2-hour window — for example 10am–12pm. Our technician will text you 30 minutes before he leaves, and in most cases arrives in the first half of that window. We do our best to respect your time.
I'm a landlord and won't be at the property. How does that work?
We handle landlord situations regularly. At booking, provide a card or other payment method on file. Our technician will coordinate access with your tenant, complete the repair, and charge your payment method directly. You'll receive a full service report by email.
What is covered under the warranty?
All repairs carry a standard 3-month warranty covering both the parts we installed and the labor. If the same fault returns within 3 months, we return and fix it completely free — including any replacement parts needed. For repairs of $1,000 and above, the warranty extends to 1 full year under the same terms.
Should I repair my older LG dryer or buy a new one?
In many cases, repairing an older LG dryer is the smarter choice. Units manufactured 8–10 years ago are built to a higher standard than current models and can last another decade with proper maintenance. We'll give you an honest assessment — if repair doesn't make financial sense, we'll tell you. See our repair cost guide for typical pricing.
Do you use original LG parts?
Yes — OEM LG parts only, sourced through our established supplier network. We never use aftermarket or generic parts. Because we buy in volume, we often source parts at prices lower than retail and pass those savings on to you.
How quickly can you come out?
In most cases we can schedule a same-day visit. Call us at (323) 990-7550 or book online — we serve Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Ventura County.
