What the role involves

Diagnosis & repair

Full diagnostic inspection of LG dryer units — electrical, mechanical, venting, and error code analysis. Repair and replacement of defective components using OEM parts only.

Client interaction

Professional communication with homeowners, tenants, and property managers. Clear explanation of diagnosis findings and written estimate before any work begins.

Documentation

Accurate service reporting via HouseCall Pro after every visit. Parts used, work performed, and warranty terms recorded for every job.

Punctuality & reliability

Clients receive a text notification 30 minutes before arrival. Arrival within the assigned 2-hour window is a non-negotiable standard, not a guideline.

What we require

Required
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on appliance repair experience
    Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair residential appliances independently
  • Proficiency with electrical diagnostics
    Multimeter use, wiring diagrams, component-level fault isolation
  • Experience with both gas and electric dryers
    Including heating circuits, ignition systems, drum mechanics, and venting
  • Valid California driver's license — clean record
    Daily travel across service areas required
  • Physical capability to handle heavy equipment
    Lifting, moving, and working in confined spaces around full-size appliances
  • Professional English communication
    Direct client interaction is part of every visit
  • Clear background check
    Required before start date — no exceptions
  • Smartphone proficiency
    All scheduling, reporting, and communication is managed through mobile apps
Preferred
  • +
    Direct experience with LG appliances
    Familiarity with LG dryer model lines — DLGX, DLEX, DLE, DLG series
  • +
    LG error code knowledge
    tE1, dE, LE, PS, d80, d90, PF and related fault codes
  • +
    Experience with HouseCall Pro or similar CRM
    Job management, invoicing, and service reporting
  • +
    EPA 608 certification
    Universal or Type I/II — relevant for units involving refrigerant handling

    Bilingual — English and Spanish or Russian
    Significant portion of our client base is Spanish and Russian-speaking

    Prior experience in a structured service company
    Familiarity with dispatch systems, time windows, and client communication standards
